Just a quick reminder that we will be at the Bemidji MN Bridal Show (Love Story Wedding Exhibition) on Saturday February 13, 2010 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm located at the South Shore Conference Center (Hampton Inn).

If you are getting married, or have a friend or family member who is, have them stop in and meet us and see the best in wedding photography from the 2009 season.

Just a quick reminder that we will be at the 20th annual Grand Rapids MN Bridal Fair on Saturday February 6, 2010 from 11:00am to 2:00pm located at the Timberlake Lodge.

As a member of the PPA, part of the code of ethics reads:

4. In all dealing with fellow professional photographers, students and others who aspire to be professional photographers, I shall share the knowledge and skill of professional photography.

I’m not sure how many of you readers are actually “aspiring professionals” but like to help out where I can.

At the behest of a fellow photographer, I joined the Professional Photographers of America today. One of the key factors of membership is an additional bonus for my clients. Namely … malpractice protection. Never had really thought about it until today but what if the back-up camera’s back-up were to fail? What if an electromagnetic pulse were to erase all of my memory cards? Probably far fetched that three cameras would simultaneously fail or that an EMP would be ANYWHERE around a wedding event. but you never know.

In addition, a wealth of information in their members only forum from which i feel my photographic IQ points raise every time I visit.
